EdTech Partnership

During the summer of 2022, I participated in the Summer EdTech Partners program offered through the New York City Department of Education. One of my passions is helping students access technology and utilizing it to demonstrate skills. Throughout the pandemic, the world saw how important technology has become in today's world. I believe the students of today have the unique opportunity to use existing technology to access education in a more accessible way, especially students with disabilities. In my classroom, technology is used as a means to provide students with access to information, as well as provide supports for students with varying needs. 

Through the EdTech Partners program, I participated in trainings to learn new ways to incorporate technology into my classroom through Apple and Google. Since the program, I have pursued becoming an Apple Certified Educator and Level 1 Google Certified Educator.
